Veteran, father of two CCSD graduates, married to a lifelong CCSD educator, and longstanding community member, Mike Hamrick wants to ensure our community and our workforce stay strong and vibrant for generations to come – and that starts with supporting the students and educators of today. 

Mike is a true champion of CCSD’s 75 years of excellence and will build on that great work to ensure every student can achieve their pathway of purpose for generations to come.

Mike's Priorities

Workforce Development

I want to continue the innovation and excellence coming out of the Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC), including the current expansion project. I will champion future projects to bring more in-demand career training to more students and enhance CCSD’s partnerships with local industry and businesses.

Supporting Educators

Teachers are on the front lines, and they are what make CCSD great. We need to do everything we can to continue to support them and make CCSD a destination district for the best teachers.

Kids Matter. That's Why I'm Running.

We need to ensure each and every student is treated with respect and dignity and supported in all aspects of their educational journey. Healthy kids learn better, and I will always champion whole well-being, mental health services, and our community health clinics.

Continue Academic Pathways

One of the greatest strengths in our Cherry Creek Schools is the ability for every student to pursue their Pathway of Purpose. I will always champion this core ethos to ensure all CCSD students have the ability to grow, learn, engage, and thrive.
